Morley Pianos is a 5th generation family business, founded in 1881 by Robert Morley was a younger son of a musical instrument making family and wished to have his own piano and music business which he started in Lewisham. His sons Edgar and Frank joined him and later his grandson Douglas. Morley pianos were exported all around the world.Renting pianos in private homes is thought to be a modern practice but we have been renting pianos since 1881 and it is still a core part of our companies business to offer an excellent selection of pianos to encourage pianists of all ages and abilities.
Whilst continuing to restore and sell pianos John Morley joined the company having studied piano making in England and Europe and developed enthusiasm for Early Keyboard Instrument which we have made and restored for more than 60 years.
Angela, Fiona and Julia joined the company and together with their father John they continue to help people find the perfect piano or restore a family treasure.

Over 130 year on Robert Morley & Company is still a family run company, with family at our core we endeavour, with the help of our small and dedicated team of staff, to help and assist customers to find the best option for them be it buying, renting and repairing pianos and early keyboard instrument.
